How to solve the error License does not contain a package which allows the use of the datasource in Mail & Deploy?

Version 3.6 introduces a licensing model which allows to include datasources to the Mail & Deploy server. When upgrading from a lower version to version 3.6, the following error can happen if a new activation code was not explicitly generated for the server.

Issue

Exception: License does not contain a package which allows the use of the 'MailAndDeploy.Server.Persistency.Entities.QlikSenseSaasAppDatasource' datasource.

at MailAndDeploy.Server.Persistency.Entities.Report.CreateReportDocument(FileType pFileType, IEnumerable`1 pParameterValues, Action[] pCustomPreparationActions)
at MailAndDeploy.Server.Persistency.Entities.CreateReportDocumentSpecification.CreateReportDocument()
at MailAndDeploy.Server.Persistency.Entities.CreateReportDocumentAction.ExecuteAction()
at MailAndDeploy.Server.Persistency.Entities.Action.Execute()
at MailAndDeploy.Server.Persistency.Entities.Task.Execute(IEnumerable`1 pParameterValues)

In this example, the license does not include the datasource Qlik. Which means the following datasources are not supported: Qlik Sense Server, Qlik Sense SaaS, Qlik Sense Desktop, QlikView Server, QlikView Local.

Contact support@mail-and-deploy.com to get an activation code for version 3.6x.
