Hi All,
We have some apps in QlikSense with section access. But when I want to export something via the M&D extension all the data will be exported and not only the limited set defined in the section access. It only works if the dimension on which I have already access is selected. Is there a way where I don't have to select all the dimensions first which are anyway defined in the section access?

There are two options,
a) The Qlik Sense self-service extension has a new property Field Names which allows to specify one or more field names; the possible (or selected, if a selection on that field exists) values of that field will be sent to the server with every report document request and before the report document is created, those values will be filtered in the respective fields. This allows section acccess restrictions of the user that uses the extension to be passed on to the server (therefore reducing the data contained in the report document to whatever the user is allowed to see). Important: This does not mean that all section access restrictions apply in the session established by Mail & Deploy; therefore this feature should carefully be tested.
b) Use the M&D version that uses section access. Please contact your partner to arrange a Q&A session about this version.
