How to restore a backup - fresh installation is required - new machine

The fresh installation is done to a new machine


1) Request a new license 

        Send an email to info@mail-and-deploy.com with the name of the new machine


2) Install M&D with the same version as the source server

3) Stop M&D Service


4) Copy the backup repository to C:\Mail & Deploy folder\Data\Repository.db


5) Start M&D Service


6) Active the license you received in step 1

7) Update the following settings in Settings -> Server with the information of the new server
